If you say Dutch history you might as well just say windmills, cheese and clogs. Don't know that windmills actually had a very important role? No idea what clogs are or want to know how cheese is made? Join us on this this awesome day trip! You can also just come for the nice pictures of course!

If you say Dutch history you might aswell just say windmills. But did you know the windmills actually had a purpose? A purpose that shaped the Netherlands as it is right now, literally. The Zaanse Schans is a residential area in which the 18th and 19th centuries are brought to life. Stroll past the bakery museum and enjoy the smell of fresh bread, or take a look at the warehouse where clogs are made. You should be sure not to miss the cheese factory, pewter foundry and the various windmills. The Zaanse Schans is a unique part of the Netherlands, full of wooden houses, mills, barns and workshops. Also for making pretty pictures it’s not too bad as you can see.

Volendam is one of our oldest fishing villages. Besides all the old school buildings, boats and beers, you can get all the fresh haring your heart desires.
Fact: Volendam is the birthplace of loads of genuine Dutch singers! The music is neither good nor bad, depends on how shitty your taste is.
